This incredible ride takes you to seven of New Hampshire’s beautiful, historic covered bridges as you cycle through gorgeous country side enjoying mountain vistas, lakes, rivers and streams. This tour also takes you to one of NH’s best swimming holes, Saint-Gaudens Sculpture Gardens and a glorious ride on the Northern Rail Trail. In the evening get out and walk the charming towns and enjoy the pampering of luxury inns and B&Bs.
Day 1: Colby-Sawyer College to Windsor, VT
The scenery of the New Hampshire country side is spectacular as you cycle your way to Windsor VT, just across the NH border passing over your first 4 historic covered bridges along the way.
Day 2: Windsor to Mascoma Lake
Today you'll enjoy cycling across 3 great covered bridges, visit the Sculpture Gardens at St. Gaudens National Historic Site and enjoy swimming in one of New Hampshire's most beautiful swimming holes! Pack a lunch for this great day!
Day 3: The Northern Rail Trail to Wilmot
After a great breakfast you cycle the fabulous Northern Rail Trail where gorgeous scenery awaits you. Enjoy the ride, making stops in charming towns along the way tor exploration and lunch at the nostalgic Danbury Country Store.
Day 4: The Northern Rail Trail to Boscawen
Today you wrap up your tour with you final 30 miles on the Northern Rail Trail, passing super cool Potter Place Depot, and the abandoned and haunted Gerrish Depot before dropping the kickstand at Hannah Dustin Historic site.
